Cubs Fans
Jeff makes a confession about how far his obsession with the Cubs has taken him. I accidently uploaded the video with the split audio track that we use for services, so if you don’t have a stereo audio connection you won’t hear everything.
We originally were going to shoot this one at a baseball field, and we had some gorgeous b-roll, but then we took a little too long and the sun was...

Windows
Matt talks about the glimpses into God’s heart that we are given from time to time. This one turned out way better than I was anticipating. The b-roll worked out nice and the music fit it well. I learned more about shooting in front of a window and was able to try out a new technique. Next time it will be gold. I don’t think it is distracting to the video.
Oasis for Orphans
Oasis for Orphans →
This is the promotional video for Oasis for Orphans. I created this for their launch. I’m pretty sure there was a better way to do this one. This project got passed around before it was passed to me. This story is a touching one. and is pretty much the common story in the part of Africa that is being reached. Go to http://www.oasisfororphans.org for more info.
Lost Bible
Jeff’s bible gets stolen out of his car. This is another video where Jeff and my reputation precede us. A lot of people think we punched out the window on the car for the purposes of the video. We did not. We had a window donated to us by a car repair shop. I mixed up some angles on this one and aside from the ridiculous bright July sun I think this video is visually very strong.

Community in D
Jeff and Dave and Jeff and Dave… and Jeff and Dave share what true community looks like. We pretty much ripped this off word for word from another church. It’s funny to us because it’s Jeff and Dave. The original is funnier.
Anticipation
This is an old one that I heard some people reminiscing about yesterday. This is Jeff at some of his best. He really uses the medium to his advantage. I heard someone say, “I never remember the message but I always remember the videos.” I think that is the power of the videos we do. People remember the small detail and can reconstruct the larger point from the illustration.
O Zion!
Jeff shares some colorful local history. I felt the need to post this video in defense of Jeff that he is not ridiculous all the time. He is very intellectual and enjoys history. He used this to open his message about Solomon and compares their stories. It was interesting to be in Zion and to see the roads and the original city planning that most Zee-Bees (Zion-Benton nickname) are unaware of.
Student Ministries Missions
A little somethin’ Dave and I threw together for a family time announcement about the student ministries missions trips this summer. I’m happy with how this turned out. I definitely learned a couple of new things about working with a white space.
Welcome to the Dojo
Jeff shares some spiritual insights from The Karate Kid. Just pure ridiculousness.

Cowboys
Dave shares why he isn’t a very good cowboy. Nate did the bumper for this series.
Elevator Breakdown
Jeff gets stuck in the elevator and tries to figure out the proper way to handle the situation. I liked the look and feel of this one, it’s a good example of a story that is brought to life through video. It is a good story but the video makes it memorable.
Motivational Speaker
Jeff Griffin shares a story of a real tough guy he met years back. I’m also trying a new embeded player, vimeo is a real nice video sharing site I was tipped off to. The bumper for this series Jesus Without Religion was a tandem idea executed by my associate Nate.

The first of what ought to be a good series at the Chapel.
